Need to urgently push the scale a few kilograms? Have a weigh-in next week and you are lacking a few good pounds? Need to quickly put on weight to be able to join a team, or participate in an event? Need to bulk up or die trying? Here are the best ways of putting on the biggest amount of weight in the shortest time possible. Follow these at your own risk as they are not great for your health. If you start feeling shooting pains down your left arm then its time to put that doughnut down!
1. Water. Yes that liquidy thing that comes out of the tap. Increasing your water intake can easily help you gain at least 1 to 2 kilograms in less then a day. But when I say you need to increase the intake, I mean increase the intake. Aim for at least 5 liters a day. Get a big pint glass and drink one before a meal and one after. Drink, drink and keep drinking. If you aren't getting up at least 3 times in the middle of the night to take a leak, you're doing it wrong!
Water.
Who would have though!2. Eat as much as you possibly can. This is a given, the more you eat the more you will gain. This does not mean that you just stuff yourself at every meal, or that you simply eat an extra egg for breakfast. You need to consume a lot of food. If I start counting calories-your heart will probably skip a beat. Oh what the hell. You need at least 4000-5000 calories a day for maximum weight in the shortest time. This number will vary from person to person. However it is very important to ease yourself in and stop if you are feeling sick. If you starve yourself and then have a huge meal, you'll get bloated and won't be able to eat a lot for the rest of the day. Eat bigger portions, eat more meals, have more snacks.
3. Healthy food. Especially if you are a hard gainer, the excess in calories coming from healthy food will generally be used up a lot more efficiently by your body(i.e. all that hard eaten food will not get flush down the toilet). Healthy food should always come first.
4. Eat frequently. Try to have a maximum of 3 hours between each and every meal. I know it sounds like it will be hard, but the truth is the more you eat the hungrier you get as your metabolism gets fired up. Like a furnace. This is to your benefit.
5. Pizza and ice cream. Mmmmm. There is a limit on how much broccoli you can stuff yourself with until you start gagging at every green color you see. Therefore, when you can not eat any more of those healthy foods but can still feel a bit of space left for some calories, junk food is a definite must. Eat as much of it as you can, it should come after the healthy food, but don't be afraid to trade it in if you have to. Stuff yourself full of junk food and the weight will be piling on.

the way you don't have to eat those together...at the same time.6. Snacks. If you're eating frequently as I suggested you do not want to have anything heavy in between the meals, as you want to be able to perform at the meal. I suggest fruit or even better a smoothie or a protein shake.
7. Eat 24 hours a day. If you are really desperate then set your alarm to wake you up once or twice in the middle of the night and have a meal, a smoothie or a protein shake.
8. Minimize Activity. Minimize any activity that may be burning the calories away, walking, running, sport. Aim to become jabba the hut.
No
you don't have to actually look like him
9. Weightlifting. Do the basic compound exercises. Squats and deadlifts come first then bench press, military press and pullups(or some kind of a heavy row). Do not do a lot of sets 1 or 2 intense(heavy) sets per exercise and no more then two exercises a day. Low repetitions(maximum of 8) Workout in the morning for maximum effect as it will speed up your metabolism for the rest of the day and allow you to eat like a monster.
10. Take it easy. This is a very extreme formula and even though there is potential to put on some serious weight, you do want to take it easy. First of all ease yourself in. Give your body at least a day to adapt. Start out with small frequent portions. Then steadily increase the portion size. Make sure not to bloat yourself or make yourself get sick, as that will stop any progress right in its tracks. Use your judgment, but don't let your judgment be an excuse for not giving it your all.
