Books on puting on weight

Top bodybuilding ebooks review

A few of my comments on the top bodybuilding resources.

Gaining weight and transforming your body is not a science. It is an art. Arnold Schwarzenegger once said that he is like a sculptor, but instead of taking slabs of clay and just sticking them on wherever the sculptor sees fit, he has to exercise and put a lot of work in, to see any kind of change. This is why these books will not work like magic and will only lay out a rough path for you to follow, it's up to you to follow it and go off the path as you see fit. Some of the books that are mentioned here are the best resources on the subject, you can find. If you manage to see past their spammy web site structure(these people are fitness experts not web designers) there is a TON of value to be had from reading those, or even keeping them for reference. Here I will give you my brief impressions and thoughts on these books.

Reading bodybuilding books Watch out! Those spikes are flying right at your face.

1. The Truth About Building Muscle by Sean Nalewanyj - this is hands down the most valuable book a person that's looking to put weight on can own. And if you're more of a listener there is a full MP3 version of the book available.

Sean explains all of the theory in a very easy to read and concise way. He explains how to train with maximum intensity to have best workouts in the shortest time. He tells you exactly what nutrients you need, which foods will provide you with those nutrients, how and when to eat those foods and what products you want to avoid. For a beginner that is truly valuable. It teaches you the right habits and starts you off on the right foot. This will make sure that you aren't wasting months of your time, not progressing.

However that is not where the value of this book truly lies. Sean doesn't only provide you with a workable weight gain program which will guide you through the first few months of your journey, he also covers every pitfall that may stand in your way and slow your progress down. He talks a lot about mental aspects of gaining weight and sticking to your goals. Sean also shares a lot of his best techniques for consistency, and that ladies and gents is the number one deciding factor in this game. Consistency.

The book includes: 249 page e-Book, 26 Week day-by-day plan, 9 customizable meal plans, Printable log book to track your progress, An online video lesson series, 8 part audio series on MP3, 3 month MGT progress tracker 6000 membership, All future updates free of charge, And if that wasn't enough it also includes 3 months of online personal training with Sean...free of charge.

I recommend this book to any beginner or intermediate that asks me for advice. It is packed with the exact information you need! Not enough can really be said about this book so just check it out for yourself.

2. No Nonsense Muscle Building by Vince Delmonte - another excellent book by a true expert. Vince's philosophy on training is a bit different to Sean's and instead of easing you into the process he gives you solid facts and instructions that will have you training balls to the wall and eating the most nutritious foods right from the get go. Another Truly valuable program. The book covers every base from training to nutrition. Vince also offers his unique tips and guides that will stick with you whether you're a beginner, intermediate or an advanced trainee. Some of these include chapters on hormones, flexibility training and minimizing muscle imbalances.

The book also comes with a lot of extras which include: workout programs and nutrition plans, virtual exercise demonstrator and free online coaching.

3. Amazing Smoothies - I do not know what I would do without this book. It contains SO many healthy and tasty recipes that you can have different smoothie every day. The great thing about smoothies is that they are very easy and quick to make and very easy and quick to consume. They make getting those extra calories and nutrients, needed for healthy weight gain an absolute breeze. Sometimes just adding two of these every day will be the difference between not gaining any weight and consistently increasing your lean body mass.

4. 7 Minute Muscle by John Benson - this book is aimed at helping you reduce the time you spend on your weight gaining goals. Very valuable to a person to whom time is of the essence. Has helped me reduce the time I spend in the gym and in the kitchen tremendously. Highly recommended if time is a problem for you.

5. Muscle Gaining Secrets by Jason Ferrugia - I have not read this book, but thought it deserved to be mentioned as a lot of my friends and past clients have recommended that I do. The book contains a lot of advanced techniques for gaining weight once you exhaust your "newbie gains" and gaining those pounds becomes more and more difficult. Probably more suited for intermediate trainees. Seems to have an excellent reputation.

Muscle Gaining Secrets jason Ferrugia You can see...he means bussiness

6. Weight Gaining System by Shaun Lebrun - The books packs in a lot of theory and can be valuable to a person just starting out. But in my opinion it is not worth it and there are better options out there. Just chucking this in here to let people know not to buy into it even though it very specific to gaining weight.
